November Board Meeting Rescheduled

Due to availability and Thanksgiving, the regularly scheduled CBWA board meeting for the 2nd Tuesday of the month — Tuesday, November 14, 2023 — will be moved to an earlier date.

The next board meeting will now be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 7:00pm at the water plant (741 Wagontire Drive).

August 2023 Notice

Due to cost increases in so many aspects of business operations and needs for regular repair projects on a 50+ year old water plant, a new flat minimum monthly rate of $100.00/month has been implemented. This rate increase is necessary to continue the operation of our member owned water plant. The previous flat minimum rate was $70.00/month.

This new standard rate will be effective on the September 2023 water services that are billed in October. The following excess monthly usage rates will also be adjusted:

  • Excess (over 5,000 gallon/month) up to 10,000 gallons/month = $10 per/1000 gallons
  • Excess from 10,001 to 20,000 gallons/month – $12 per/1000 gallons
  • Excess over 20,000 gallons/month – $14 per/1000 gallons

Please come to the next CBWA board meeting if you have any questions, concerns, or information pertaining to the good of the association.

The next board meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 17, 2023. View the details from the Board Meeting Rescheduled post here.

Water Leak – July 18th, 2023

We have a substantial leak at the water plant and a solution is in the works. Water service may be limited for the next 8 hours so please conserve water use.

We will update this post as information comes in.

Update at 2:55pm – There is a major blow out in mixing chamber. OEC on site with a repair plan in motion. No new water can be treated until the repair is completed. Please conserve water until further notice since we only have what’s available in the storage tanks to get through the day.

Update 5:24pm – Holes have been patched and the repair is curing. The plant is off line for another couple hours. It will be restarted this evening when patches are fully cured. We should have enough water stored until this evening.

Update 9:07pm – The water plant is up and running. The repair seems to be holding so water use is back to normal.
